Con Campbell originally trained to be a professional jazz saxophonist before going into Christian ministry and academia. He continues to play jazz at a professional level in a variety of contexts.
Such contexts include performing jazz in partnership with churches, university groups, schools, and festivals for the purpose of outreach.
As well as his own quartet, Con plays with the jazz group Transit.
